Service Opportunities
The troop schedules several service opportunities throughout the year but you can also find other opportunities to serve on your own that will count towards advancement.
Please remember that for service hours to count towards advancement that are not planned through the troop, check with the scout master and get permission before performing the service . Troop 57's Scout Master can be reached at: troop57sm@gmail.com.
Troop 57 provides many opportunities to serve our community. Some of these include:
Clean and maintain local public parks, including the removal of invasive plant species like English ivy
Retire old American flags
Help with an Eagle project
Clean up the grounds around our charter organization's church building.
Troop sponsored service opportunities will be announced at troop meeting and through other forms of communication.
