About Troop 57
Troop 57 has been active in Chesapeake, Virginia for 30 years. It has supported hundreds of boys through the scouting program. We currently have over 30 boys registered with our troop.
As a “Boy-Run Troop,” it is the policy of Troop 57 that the programs and activities be planned and carried out by the boys, with supervision by the adult leadership. This is the only way the scouts will learn leadership skills and to deal with the consequences of their decisions and actions. The success of their scouting experience depends largely on the effort and commitment they put into the various activities, and on the boy leaders they elect.
You can meet the troop at any of the upcoming events. Contact us directly for more information.
